Overview
Help SJR boys to 'humbly serve.' This is part of the SJR school mission.
Under the direction of Jeannie Podest, our students (and staff) have volunteered thousands of hours of time for those in need.
Whether it be through summer camps at Esopus, day trips to Mercy House, fighter hunger with ShopRite or shaving heads for cancer patients, campus ministry is a contact sport at SJR. Get out and serve!
Why are donations necessary?
Our strategic plan for the campus ministry includes looking off-campus and outside our insular world to serve the greater community.
- Expand service opportunities throughout the country
- GOAL: Mission trips to Appalachia and other drivable locations
- Development of Campus Ministry Speaker Series
- GOAL: Regular mission-driven speakers both school-wide and in classroom
